Jonathan Owen is a passionate & skilled photographer, specialising in social events & based in Bournemouth, Dorset. 

From weddings & portraits to commercial & fine images he makes photographs which are both contemporary & timeless.

Placing emphasis on a truly personal service which is tailored for you, Jonathan works with sensitivity & discretion.  He will produce the images you want be they elegant & evocative or funky & fresh.

Jonathan trained at Bournemouth & Poole College of Art & Design, Dorset until 1999.  Since then, he has produced photographs for magazines including Clubsnapper, Pozfem & The Essential Guide, worked freelance as a wedding, portrait & commercial photographer & exhibited his work with the Artworks collective in Dolphin Quays, Poole, Dorset. Jonathan is a member of both the Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers and the Society of International School & Event Photographers.

Jonathan has broad tastes in photography and enjoys a variety of styles. He most admires the work of photographers such as Esko Männikkö, Nan Goldin, Sally Mann, Martin Parr, David LaChapelle, William Klein, Robert Frank, Walker Evans, Vivian Maier & Jacob Holdt.
